There should be a reset button on the receiver and under the mouse.

Changed my idol sensor. It went around the block and died. turns over but wont start and gages dont work.

Changing that would cause the electrical to shut down. If they disconnected the battery for some reason. I would check that first.

My door for a hotpoint ctd40 tumble drier wont stay closed. The spring latch seems ok but not holding dooe closed. Any ideas since it dont say anything in my manual about it and its 2 yrs old. cheers andy

Hi andy.

the fault is likely to be in the roller catch mechanism. Hotpoint have modified these. Part Number is C00257618.

It includes both door latch and catch.
If you have problems obtaining one please email me on: aardvark.repairs@btinternet.com or call me on 01733 307019

Idiot needs 5 mins of your time

Hi Andy
Firmware
is a term sometimes used to denote the fixed, usually rather small, programs that internally control various electronic devices. you can get updates from the web..try the chatterbox.cc

You will in time need to re-new your codes..as they change as you have the starview 4 that might not be for some time (but don't hold me to that lol)

If I can be of more use to you just get back to me and I will do my best.

I cant change my screen resolution correctly the screen is too big i tried installing drivers for my video and it wont let me install i found a screen that gave my options but when it changes it how i...

Hi Dubz,

It sounds to me that you might be setting the resolution to something that your monitor cannot handle. Check your monitor manual for the supported resolutions and try one of them.

If you dont have the manual try 800 x 600 or 1024 x 768 as most monitor support those resolutions.
