Question about Sony VAIO VGN-NS110E/W Notebook
Guessing that you cannot even see the Sony screen but you can hear the start up sounds?
Look at your manual and see if you can figure out how to use the F keys to switch between the laptop screen and a secondary external projector / screen. You SHOULD be able to connect this laptop directly to an older CRT or LCD using a VGA connector. If you can find the way to 'connect your laptop to a projector' then you will be able to RIGHT CLICK on the My Computer option from the Start menu, and choose Manage. From there, you can see the Event Viewer, and read the System log file. There MAY be an error about failed display. You can also check Device Manager in the same area and see if there is a failure or yellow explanation with the video chipset driver or monitor section. Hope that helps.
