Apparently not well refurbished. HP printers are pretty good about bugging you when Ink is low but I'd also check for gunk on the rollers that may have then sticking. The machine does check them but unlike with the ink you will get no "dirty" machine messages. It will just not ever be ready. Also, make sure you have no network printer software running if the printer is directly plugged it via the USB port. Only run that software if the printer is available via your local network. Simply stop such software and your printer will be available for local use again. I had to plug my HP printer directly into the new PC to install the drivers and have not moved it back to being connected to the router and the network printing software will interfere until I move it back.

Printer says error 10 documents to be printed

Right click on the message 10 documents to be printed and use Cancel All option and afterwards enter into the printer manager to reactivate your offline printer so you have other documents waiting to be printed.

Screen showed message that "parts

The message that you received indicates the ink pad absorbers are full and prevents the printer from running because unchecked it would leak ink everywhere including outside of the unit. To fix this you need to replace the pads with new ones and reset the counters to let machine know you have changed the pads. On top of that you must download a utility program for your model that will allow you to set up the counters so the printer will run. I strongly recommend replacing your printer especially when it is a refurbished item, even Epson feels it is better to replace.

All of a sudden, our printer won't print. Won't copy. Was working just fine the day before. Have installed new black cartridge.

We bo't a refurbished machine of the same model for $60 from Staples. We're hoping it lasts long enough to use up all the ink cartridges we have. However that works out, it will be last Brother printer we'll own.
tnx,

Can't get brother out of sleep after 99 minutes inorder to pring

Try plugging the mfc into another usb port on the computer. The ones in the back are closer to the processor, usually work better.
