Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
Try resetting it but be warned resetting it deletes all data and restores it back to factory default
1. Power Off the PS3 via the power switch in back and power back on w/switch.
2. Hold Power Button on the Front until you hear 3 beeps.
3. Then go through the initial setup and then run a full Format via System > Format.. You may need to have our AV cables ready if your using HDMI (in case HDMI isn’t detected after initial reset

I used to have da same problem. Chek ur cds dat u put in and make sure they have no scratches. If it still starts freezing go 2 ur local electronics stroe like pc world and ask them 2 tune it up because something might have messed up the hard drive. i hope this helped. =)
