I purchased a new 4gb flash drive off Ebay (the package was Sony Vaio), and my new HP PC w/Vista does not recognize it. I called HP support and they didn't know what to do except try the Sony site. I did, and that didn't work either.

- I put the flash drive in another computer with XP and it worked in that one. It did show there was something on the brand new flash drive, so I formatted it to clear it (I've heard sometimes there is some sort of spyware that collects email addresses on new items, it happened to a guy at work). Then I tried it on my Vista and it still doesn't work. I think Vista has a lot of quirks that need to be fixed. ~ khalicoe
-   HI,
I have a new Sony Vaio laptop which does not recognize my Sony flashdrive, both bought from a Sony Style store.
It does recognize my external hard drive but when I plug in my flash drive it looks for drivers online and does not find any.
I run on Vista business, when I plug it into my friends laptop which runs on Vista ultimate it works !!!!
Any idea what it could be ???
Thanks,

Monitor has blue down right 2/3 of screen and bright yellow on left 1/3 of screen. When viewing pictures or videos they are high lighted with bright blue. The left part of the screen remains bright yellow . I have done all of the suggestions regarding troubleshooting in the setup manual and nothing has helped. The monitor is about 3 years old, has it just worn out?

When trying to watch a short film clip or a short video, my computer stops showing the film, because the buffer cannot keep up . It may stop 6 or 7 times on a short clip.If I pause it long enough to let it get about throught the buffering process it will usually keep up. But it is a big pain, can anyone tell me how I can fix this problem. I am running Windows XP Pro( Media Ed)SP 3, 4 gb memory 360 gb hard drive, 3.2 Htz dual core Intel PentiumD.
