Hello . If you have a weak spark it could be the ignition coil that needs adjustment or a bad ignition coil . To find the ignition coil simply follow the spark plug wire . To readjust the coil get a piece of paper , loose the bolts on the coil and put the paper between the coil and the flywheel (higher part of the flywheel or magneto) tight the bolts and remove the paper .
Check for spark . If still a weak spark just replace the ignition coil .
Hope this help.

Initial will start but as soon as the pressure builds it stall out

Clean carb and filter. Ensure oil is clean and full. Could be bad carb. Clean plug/gap. Replace if over 1 yr old. If carb is getting to much air it will stall out or run ruff. Same if dirty air cleaner.

Echo PB 251 won't run. replaced plug, gas, fuel filter, air filter. took carb a part, and cleaned with carb cleaner, used the compressed cleaner to clean out venturis/ports.

Wow! with all you have done it should run. Be sure the switch is on but if you are getting spark, it should be on. I would take it to the echo place for service.

Will start and run on choke only and run . once i give it gas it stalls

These small carburetors are notorious for plugging.
First make sure your gas is clean, make sure the filter Is attached to the gas line in the tank.
Remove the carb, disassemble and soak in in CLEAN gas for about 10 mins (submerge it) Be sure to agitates (stir or shake)
Remove parts and blow out all ports with either canned air or small engine parts cleaner. Reassemble. This will need to be done every time the small filter falls off the tube in the gas tank if the gas you use is not pure.

Ryobi b/p blower ry 08570 stalls out when givin the gas why and how can i correct this problem? do i need to throw it to the curb and buy an echo?

I would check your fuel filter and make sure you have all fresh gas in tank, then I would check to see if it will run with choke on , then I would check exhaust port and muffler screen for being plugged, then I would dissasemble and clean carb and check diaphrams and pump for being stretched and also clean out inlet screen and needle&seat . If all else fails I guess I would do the alternative either an echo or redmax or dalmar ! dalmar makes a great 4 cycle takes reg gas I have one it is great!!

Only runs on choke, will not rev-up. took exaust off did not change, fuel is filter clean, plug has been cleaned, new fuel and let idle till it got hot, still will not rev-up

Your description sounds like fuel restriction in the main circuit. Sometimes you need to soak the carb in carb cleaner and then blow out passageways with compressed air.

There is one "cheat" but it involves some higher throttle, and that is you remove the air filter, rev up the unit and briefly place palm over the intake. Sometimes this is enough to pull the obstruction free.

Wont keep running

Remove air filter and clean carb with carb cleaner. spray start spray .
If that don't do it check the pickup tube filter inside the gas tank and see if it is clogged. Sometimes there is enough slack in the line you can snag it with a piece of wire. Spray it with the cleaned or if needed get a new one and replace it.

My echo leaf blower shuts down after a few minutes of operation, I have replaced fuel lines and Gas

I would also take the air filter element off and clean and reoil it. You may be pulling sufficient fuel, but if there isn't enough air in the mix, your leaf blower will stall out.
I would clean the air filter, and you may want to take the carb unit off and spray it out with aerosol carb cleaner. The carb cleaners are available at local auto parts houses, and it comes with a small spray tube to put on the nozzle so you can pinpoint the spray into the carb jets etc.

Also change your spark plug as they get fouled due to the fuel oil mixture..
best of success!

I have a homelite model uto8550 26cc mighty blower/vac. On initial startup it runs at half choke then stalls when i turn it to run. Any suggestions?

1. check fuel filter in gas tank (for clogged condition).
2. Check carb jet for dirt (squirt carb cleaner in jet and fuel inlet

Summary: your carb is not getting enough fuel to mix properly with constant air flow. Therefore, fuel supply needs to be cleaned... then you will run happy!!

Gas blower craftsman leaf older modle

check the fuek lines for hole and leaks, check the fuel filter and clean if necessary. remove the carbuerator and inspect the gasket; it should be soft and flexible, if it seems hard or brittle replace it. clean the carb with carb cleaner sray (available at any local auto parts store) and compressed air. make sure you get inside the small fuel rail holes. check the primer bulb for pin holes and seating/sealed properly. if that doesn't work have the carb repaired at a service center or replaced.
