No start up - constant fan - no mouse or keyboard working

Initially, my keyboard and mouse (connected to computer by wire) went out. Now, when turning on my computer I get no start up and the fan runs constantly. A few week ago the same problem happend with the mouse and keyboard, but after unplugging and restarting the computer it was resolved. This no longer works. What do you suggest?

Update drivers for the mouse and keyboard. I also recommend installing "Glary Utilities" which is a free registry optimezer and corrects and registry errors in the system

Can't hook up mouse and keyboard

Okay, setting up the mouse and keyboard is very simple. The mouse should have a green end, and the keyboard has a purple end. They fit into the corresponding places in the back of the computer. Also both the mouse and the keyboard have flat sides. Try attaching them in the four different directions (e.g; up, down left, right). If that still doesn't work have them look at the wires to confirm that the wires are not bent, that could explain the problem, because the twisting could have caused bends in the PS2 Connector.

Receiver for my RF wireless deskset is flashing constantly

If the mouse and keyboard are working, and the receiver is still flashing constantly, then it's probably just indicating that the receiver is connected to the keyboard and mouse.

Stoped functioning

Normal 0 Turn the Keyboard over and locate the small reset/connect button on the back of the keyboard and press it. Then try to see if it is working. If not try pressing the button on the receiver and then on the keyboard.
If your having trouble with the mouse also,
turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it. This should connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly. If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press the button on the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or glitch.
Hope this helps. Bud
