Sounds like sound drivers.

Install this update to resolve an issue where the Realtek HD Audio Control Panel may not start after you install security update KB925902 (MS07-017) and security update KB928843 (MS07-008).

Msvcrt.dll error message(Msvcrt.dll error message("the procedure entry except handler4 common could not be located dinamic link library msvcrt.dll")

Two possible solutions.
Roll back system with System Restore. Win 7 - Start > Search type System Restore. XP - Is Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Restore. Now choose a date prior to problem. You may have to try a few dates.

Try disabling startup programs. Go to Start > Run (search in Win 7) and type MSConfig. In Startup tab, uncheck anything that you don't want Windows to load automatically. It will make Windows boot faster and use less resources while running. This just disables them in startup. Programs will still load, but when only you initiate.

I own an ACER ASPIRE 5732Z-443G32Mn, my problem is with the webcam which is not working. When I'm trying to open the cam the following message is shown on the screen, " The program can't start...

Hi

Just reinstall your webcam driver to fix the missing DLL FILE.

Or go to this link http://www.dll-files.com/.

If still the same, the only solution is to reinstall the operating system and reinstall again the webcam driver which might be corrupted with the windows registry file.

I've been getting an error message: sysenv.dll missing

Hi friends,
"The file sysutil.dll is missing."
"Cannot start Metamail. A required component is missing: sysutil.dll. Please install the application again."

sysutil.dll error notifications may appear while using or installing certain programs, when Windows startup or even shutdown. sysutil.dll errors are caused by situations that lead to the removal or corruption of the sysutil.dll. In some cases, those errors could indicate mostly a registry problem, a virus or malware issue.
to Fix Sysutil.dll Errors

The sysutil.dll error message could apply to any program or system that might utilize the file on any of Microsofts operating systems including Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows Vista, and Windows 2000.

You can fix a sysutil.dll error and there are many ways to do it. A registry cleaner program can help by removing invalid sysutil.dll registry entries that might be causing the DLL error. The below utility is without a doubt the best one out there at the moment.

Let me know if any further clarification is required. Hope it will help! Dont forget to rate the solution!!

Unable bootup & error prompt that HAL.dll file missing or corrupt

CauseCauses of the "missing or corrupt hal.dll" error include, naturally, a damaged hal.dll DLL file or a hal.dll file that has been deleted or moved from its intended location. Additional causes may include a damaged or missing boot.ini file or possibly a physically damaged hard drive.
Resolution
  1. Restart the PC. The hal.dll error could be a fluke.

  2. Check for proper boot order in BIOS. You might see the hal.dll error if the boot order in BIOS is first looking at a hard drive other than your main hard drive.

Note: If you've recently changed your boot order or recently flashed your BIOS, this may be what's causing your problem.

  3. Run Windows XP System Restore from a command prompt. If this doesn't work or you're receiving the hal.dll error message before you're able to complete this process, move on to the next step.

  4. Repair or replace the boot.ini file. This will work if the cause of the problem is actually Windows XP's boot.ini file and not the hal.dll file, which is often times the case.

Note: If repairing the boot.ini does correct the hal.dll issue but the problem reappears after a reboot and you've recently installed Internet Explorer 8 in Windows XP, uninstall IE8. In this specific situation, IE8 could be the root cause of your hal.dll problem.

Dll user32.dll problem

Certain programs may not start after you install security update 925902 (MS07-017) and security update 928843 (MS07-008) on a computer that is running Microsoft Windows XP with Service Pack 2 (SP2). Additionally, you may receive an error message that resembles the following: application_executable_name - Illegal System DLL Relocation

The system DLL user32.dll was relocated in memory. The application will not run properly. The relocation occurred because the DLL C:\Windows\System32\Hhctrl.ocx occupied an address range reserved for Windows system DLLs. The vendor supplying the DLL should be contacted for a new DLL.

RTHDCPL.EXE err

Error Message after Installing Security Updates 925902 and 928843 This afternoon (April 3rd, 2007) my Automatic Updates alerted me about a couple updates I needed to install, so I did. Upon rebooting the computer though I was confronted with the following error message
"RTHDCPL.EXE - Illegal System DLL Relocation"

"The system DLL user32.dll was relocated in memory. The Application will not run properly. The relocation occurred because the DLL C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\HHCTRL.OCX occupied an address range reserved for Windows system DLLs. The vendor supplying the DLL should be contacted for a new DLL."

Cause of Error Message

Turns out this error occurs when the Realtek HD Audio Control Panel by Realtek Semiconductor Corporation is installed. This is my built-in sound card on my computer.

The HHCTRL.OCX file that is included in the Security update 928843 and the User32.dll files that is included in Security Update 925902 have conflicting base addresses. When Windows loaded the HHCTRL.OCX file before it loads the User32.DLL file, the problem occurs.

The error occurs when the following third party programs or applications are installed on a computer with Windows XP Service Pack 2 installed.
Realtek HD Audio Control Panel
ElsterFormular 2006/2007
TUGZip
CD-Tag
Microsoft now has released a patch to correct the problems, you can go to the following link to download and install the patch for the patch :-)
