I can not get my m500 Palm Pilot to sync to FranklinCovey's PlanPlus for Windows v5.1 running on a Windows XP platform

Yes, it is PlanPlus v5.1 for Windows (Build 3162). When I try to do a hotsync from the cradle it times out and the Palm Pilot returns the message "Hotsync Problem - The connection between your handheld computer and the desktop could not be established. Please check your setup and try again."
The setup seems to be normal.

When I try a hotsync from the desktop application (PlanPlus), immediately I get a message stating "None of your existing connections are configured to run in "Sync All".

This same message comes up even after I go to "Configure this connection" and do a "Synchronize All".

Hi,

Would this be PlanPlus for Windows XP v5.1? And can you please describe any error messages you get while trying to sync to the mobile device.

Thanks.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

How can I transfer the data from Z222 to window7

Hello de nicola:

I have an entire page devoted just to the Palm Z22, listed below.

Many people report issues with trying to connect the Palm Z22 to new 64 BIT Operating systems like Windows 7 and Windows 8, and although somewhat obscure and time-consuming to set up, this can be done. ONE known software company has a 64 BIT driver, which, when used with other software, can get the SYNC functions working again. Another method is to put a VIRTUAL Windows XP on the Windows 64 BIT Systems, and then SYNC using the already working WIndows XP to get the data from files on the "new" 64 Bit Systems, and back...

I also deal with battery problems, touch screen problems, maintenance, repair, and upkeep issues, so that you may find the page of value! It is at:

http://kidbots.com/WEBADD/Z22_PALM_PILOT/Z22_PALM_PILOT.html

I hope this gets your Palm Z22 up and running again, and keeps it that way...

good luck

Two computers

You should be able to install it on both computers, but if you're the one going to be using both, then it will become tedious entering the information into both computers. If you're wanting to make use of one while a family member uses the other, you should be fine; but if your purchase is for a business, you are expected (by law) to purchase the second package, as the software is licensed for an individual.

On the other hand, if you mean a palm-type PC, yes, you can sync your calendar with your palm computer:

System Requirements for PlanPlus for Microsoft Outlook:
· Microsoft Outlook® 2000, 2002 (XP), or 2003
· PC with 400 MHz or higher processor clock speed
· Microsoft Windows® 2000 or XP editions
· 128 MB RAM or higher recommended (64 MB minimum supported; may limit performance and features)
· 120 MB available hard disk space
· CD-ROM or DVD drive
· Super VGA (800x600 or higher resolution) with 256 colors
· Mouse or compatible pointing device
· Computer speakers for multimedia presentation
· Palm OS 4.0 or higher required for synchronization with Palm OS handhelds
· Windows Mobile 5.0 or higher required for synchronization with Pocket PC/Windows Mobile devices (touch screen)
· Tablet PC device required to utilize some digital ink and pen input features in PowerNotes

You never mentioned your drivers, they could be out of whack. Try updating them or get a Microsoft compatible driver. Check the device manager for problems.
