That is a memory error. Remove and reseat the memory in your computer. If the error persists and you have more than 1 stick, try each stick separately to find the faulty unit. If you only have one stick, then the memory will need to be replaced.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How do I reset my personal password on the regular password prompt screen for my Toshiba Satilite A 105 ?

from a seperate pc, look for and download "windows password recovery tool" after download, install the software, open it, and you will need to burn an image onto either a dvd/cd, or a usb flash drive. after its done burning the image, insert the disc, or flash drive into the problem pc, and boot from it (during startup, hit ESC, or F3 to enter setup to find boot options, and select "boot from disc, or boot from usb") then simply follow on screen instructions to reset your windows password.

Toshiba Satilite Pro will not boot up

Make sure that you have nothing in any of the drives. Then, when you restart it, go into setup. Be careful not to change things that don't need to be changed!!!! Look for BOOT. once you find that, change your Hard drive to the FIRST BOOT DEVICE. After that, exit saving changes and then reboot and let me know what you get.

With your preticular sittuation, there could be a number of things wrong.

Here is an informative guide on disassembling your laptop.

If you order a new screen assembly from Ebay for it (just search "toshiba 1800 screen") then you could install it using this guide.

I would rate this as intermediate/advanced in terms of difficulty. It's not overly hard, but any messing up might mean you break the ribbon connectors or the screen.

Be careful!

Also, word to the wise: if it is under warranty or even close, call toshiba and plead with them first. Be polite, it goes a long way.

in my experience with this type of issue it can mean your hard drive is dead or something is wrong with your RAM if you have a spare hard drive on hand and ram replace the hard drive and ram and see if it fixes your problem

The one at the top is the primary language set.
