Try non-rechargeable batteries, and try testing your rechargeable batteries because they do wear out.

My nissan serena runs really well up the street but as I'm driving I notice the battery light flickering. As soon as I stop and switch it off and try and start it again my battery is totally dead. why?

The alternator has a fault and is not charging the battery fully. When you start the car, the battery has not enough oomph left for another go. It could also be that the battery has suffered by being fully discharged, that is not good for it.

Have your alternator and voltage regulator checked for faults.

I was using my psp while it was charging and the charging light turned off, so i naturally assumed that it was fully charged. But a few minutes later the battery died and it wont charge when i plug it in....

Have you tried to remove the battery and put it back in and try to turn it on. Try removing the battery and putting the charger in and starting the PSP. If it starts, it might be the battery. If it doesn't, it's either the plugin for the charger or the PSP is just dead. If it does start with the charger, try putting the battery back in, if it charges awesome. If it doesn't the battery might be dead.

Question about john deere bulldozer that has a radio control 9.6v rechargeable Ni-cd battery pack 800mAh. how long does it need to totally charge?

Hi.
Since this is using Ni-Cad battery system, I would charge it between 12 - 16 hours to ensure a full charge has been accomplished.

The original owners manual may say quite alot less, but Ni-Cad batteries are notorious for taking a long time to fully charge.

Too bad it doesn't have a li-ion battery...those only take about 4-6 hours for a full charge, and thats only if they are totally dead!

I hope this helps you out.
Good luck to you, and have a good day!

While driving, successive loss of power culminating in the engine dying. Lights still working but engine would not start. After 5 minutes everyhing dead. 1 hour later engine starts and works for less...

Sounds like it could possibly be a bad alternator if all the cables are tight and started out with a good battery. Do you have a battery or red charge light? Or, alternatively, is there an absence of this light when the car ignition is on, but the car has not yet been started?

Good luck on this repair.

The phone has been dead for more than a year

You cannot usually charge a totally flat battery from the USB port. These are only used to "Top UP" the battery... You need to replace it with a fully charged one,and then us the USB to keep it fully charged.

I have an Aprilia Mojito 50 2002. Won't start.

Hello. The interesting thing about these small motor cycles is that their charging system is not adequate to keep the battery fully charged. I recommend that you charge the battery fully and then start it. When the battery is totally dead, even a kick start will not start it. The charging process may also indicate that your battery needs to be replaced. If you are still using the original battery on a 2005 I would begin by having that battery tested at any auto parts store.

Bought my phone yesterday...Battery was losing charge quickly.. battery was down to half charge after about 15 minutes of fully charging.. Was trying to let the phone die completley then fully charge it,...

Ok first of all you should never let a phone die out of charge at all.IF it dies out of charge there are chances it might charge again once you charge it but in some cases it wont, you need to boost your battery just like jump start your car.It cannot be done anywhere except some service centre. If you are not taking to your service center , then you need to buy a new battery.
