Need The Service manual Level 3 for the EX615, Optoma Projector.
SOURCE: Optoma DV10 MovieTime Color Wheel replacement
Hi guys
Your best bet on getting your hands on a Service Manual would be to contact Optoma themself.
As for changing the colour wheel , it is pretty straight forward if you were able to open up the unit and get to it.
The colourwheel is mounted with three tiny scrws to a bracket in which it sits. And the bracket in it's turn is fastenend to the body of the Projector with two tiny screws.
First unscrew the bracket from the casing of the Projector and then take off the three screws that holds the Colour wheel to the bracket. Replace and do the whole proses again - but obviously just the other way round.
This is really easy to do yourself.
Give me a shout if you need any further assistance.
Thanks for using Fixya and good luck.

if the lamp asssembly isnt screwed in tight the unit will not power on. i did have a faulty lamp once, try fitting the old one back to check first. if not the power supply is faulty on the main board or a short in the supply to the lamp can cause this fault.

This same thing happened to me, I removed the bulb and put it back in, it reset something and I was able to use the projector again.
SOURCE: The optics are dusty in an Optoma HD32 projector,
go to http://www.tantht.blogspot.com/ . He has excellent instructions for dismantling an optoma projector. However I took it one step further. I still had a problem with overheating due to dust after I followed his steps twice. Then I also removed the back of the projector which gave me much better access to an internal fan. I could see a substancial amount of dust coming out when I blew compressed air through it this third time around. It has been working fine for 6 months since.

With projector on, hit the power button on the remote once, then left, left, up.
