Table fan winding&connection daigram

  • I have a Bionaire brand table electric fan.
    • It has a 3 speed fan motor.
    • The electric motor is a BM-122 Decomin brand 3 speed motor.
      • There are 6 wires:
        • Red wire.
        • Black wire.
        • White wire.
        • Yellow wire.
        • Gray wire.
        • Blue wire.
          • The motor has a 4mu 250volt capacitor.
  • This fan has an oscillating grill with independent sync motor, and timer circuit.
  • Something was wrong with the solid state circuitry (everything worked but the motor!), but a quick test of the motor indicated it does work.
  • The motor uses a start and run capacitor.
  • I decided to change controls to a simple mechanical switch and fore go for now anything beyond 3 speeds.
  • The printed circuit board shows the following connections:
    • Black wire
    • Blue wire
    • Yellow wire
      • Are respective for the:
        • High fan motor speed
        • Medium fan motor speed
        • Low fan motor speed
  • I think the gray wire goes out to the oscillator motor.
    • The Red wire is marked as Line, for the power source.
  • All wires are in continuity with each other EXCEPT RED is not with any other wire. How to Verify Fan Motor Wiring Connections
    • Checking the Motor and Capacitor Connections
    • Double check your connections using the fan wiring diagrams.
    • You should see that there is a separate motor winding for high speed.
      • The concern is that there is a capacitor for the motor.
      • So I'm thinking that the motor may have to start with the slower speeds first.
      • and not start in the high speed because the motor or capacitor has not been designed for that type of operation.

Where is the fuse for motor fan in uplander 2006?

there is 2 fuses that you have to check
one will be in the big fuse assembly in the engine bay, the other probably in the fuse assembly in the cab
If they prove ok then it is possible that the coolant temperature SENSOR is faulty and needs replacing
don't confuse it with the temperature sender which operates the temp gauge.

I have a 2008 Ford Edge, the a/c gets cold, but the fan runs at diff speeds when it wants to and sometimes not at all. I have replaced the blower motor, resister & blower motor relay. The problem still...

try running your fan motor w/o the ac being on, ie: defrost, heat etc..

If the problem with fan speed persists, try replacing the fan speed selector switch. FYI FREON was Dupont's version of R12 refrigerant which hasn't been made in decades. Your car uses R134a, not freon.

Heater fan does not work

The fan motor is either burning out or the control for the fan is burned out and unable to change the speeds. If the fan is running I would start with the speed control switch, unlikely at this point that the fan motor is bad.

Furnace transformer/fan-relay wiring to fan-motor

All you need is 2 fan speeds, 1 for cool and 1 for heat. Leave the low speed disconnected. Normally we have high speed for cooling, and med. or low for heat. So either speed connected to the heating circuit is fine.

Hy Pls do check your fan motor in your engine bay mounted on the radiator, check for the 2nd fan speed is running during the temperature is almost half. When u first switching the unit, the a/c fan is running, then at certain temp the fan motor is running faster(2nd speed). If u dont get any changes in motor speed then u have to replace a 2nd hand fan motor. Good luck

Kenmore over the stove microwave, model # 721.62629200,only low speed fan works on the keypad,no high speed fan.

The fan has a setting for high speed, low, and off. Fan only running at low speed. This indicates problem towards. 1) the fan motor. 2) The loose fan wiring. 3) The fan switch. IN the unit there is a motor for fan.If the motor gets weak or short. The fan will run but only at low speed.Because at high speed the motor will require more power to run.In this case motor needs to be checked and replaced. The other possibility is the fan wiring. There are two wires going from fan to motor and two going from motor to power board. If any of this wire is got loose or getting short then this will stop the fan to run in high speed. In this case the wires needs to be checked and reconnected properly. In the unit there is a switch internally. When you select the fan to high speed mode the switch goes up. when you select the fan to low speed mode the switch turns down. But if the switch is faulty or got worn out. Then it will not move properly up/down.In this case switch needs to be replaced.IN some brand models the High speed and low speed are directly controlled from front control panel. There is no switch in that models. In that case the control panel needs to be checked and replaced. Thanks. keep updated for any more query.you can rate this solution and show your appreciation.

Heater fan only works on high after replacement of heater core

It's very possible the fan motor has quit. The squealing noise is caused from motor bearing failure. As the bearings wear out or dry up the motor is harder to turn and require more current to run the motor. On lower speeds, the motor runs off a series of resistors that reduce the amount of voltage and current so the fan runs a lower speeds. If the bearings are worn, there is not enough voltage or current to turn the motor and that's probably the humming noise your hearing.
Good observation by the way.
Let me know.
