I got a thinkpad from a friend who got it from a friend - can't get in because of an unknown password.
Help anyone?

You'll need to reset your password. Just access your CMOS battery on your motherboard, remove it for a while and you'll have reset your entire BIOS to its defaults, next, power up your computer and you should be good to go...
