Elderley Bosch Freezer: gsu2606gb of an elderley neighbour is letting off an alarm sound, and alarm light is lit - temp indicates at -7.0 deg C (evid normally always at 18 deg C.) We have moved it out further from the wall, and moved away a coat that was hanging quite near to it. We've now given it best air circulation on this hot day.

Ask a friend/neighbour/family member if you can store the meat in their freeser for a day or two. keep an odd item ir two in the freezer see if it freezes. If it does then replace your dood in it which should be frozen by then.I give freezers a chance or two when things start to go wrong. As your issue was caused by leaving the door open there is probably not a fault, If it is resolved fine. If it is not then think about the repairman. As I am a little overcautious I tend to buy a new machine when white goods go wrong.
Possibly a problem with one of the components in the automatic defrost system in the freezer then.. this is the only reason why the alarm would keep sounding. Perhaps some of the moisture from the defrost has gotten in and damaged the electricals somehow. It might be worth it to store your freezer contents elsewhere and completely defrost the freezer and then heat the inside cabinet up with a hair dryer or something similar. This will dry out the cabinet and the electrical components. Once the freezer has warmed up let it stand for as long as possible with the doors open so that it reaches room temperature and then close the doors and switch back on. If this doesn't work you probably need a service engineer visit.
Is your circulating fan working?
Sometimes they stick and need a shot of WD 40 and then work
it back and forth a little until it wants to take off again. Keep me informed

in Most of the computers ( if it has a backup recovery inbuilt). When computer starts keep on pressing F11 key on the top of your keyboard. In some computers this function is on F10. But make sure when you do system recovery you will loose all data if you would like to go for destructive recovery. If you want to backup ur files first dont go for destructive recovery but choose other recovery option.
If you dont have any backup system then you might have product key sticker somewhere on you computer. If its window Xp home then borrow XP home from someone and when it ask for product key enter that product key. THis way you can reinstall Operating system.
Hope it helps
