Thanks for your reply, I have already done that, i have written all model number IEEE everything down and i have the correct drivers just have major problems with getting my system to accept that they are the correct drivers for the network adapter. It could be something simple or confusing i dont no i have tried for 3 days to solve it without luck, tried all sorts i no it works because when i bought it it was fully functioning after a format the trouble started, its the only thing that wont install evrything else is fine in the device manager.

I am having the same problem. I did a recovery to factory defaults and everything works fine except the wifi drivers. I was going to try Broadcom and see if they had drivers that would work.

I'll let you know what I find out.

Yes, I found out that the drivers for my wireless are Intel and not Broadcom. Go to Acers web site and look for all drivers for the 3610 and scroll until you find the Intel drivers. It worked for me.

Are you sure you have the right drivers? The 3610 comes with more than one type of wireless card. Check on the bottom of the laptop, there should be a white label with the details about your card on it. Match it to the card on Acer's site, download and install.

Hope that helps.

Black screen after turn on

That "Blue Screen" is also known as "Blue screen of Death".

The problem is due driver compatibilty or unstablity.

Try to boot your system to "Safe Boot" by pressing F8 during startup.
Select "Last know good Configuration that works"
Check if it can take you to desktop.
Unstalled the wi-fi driver and reboot.

If the above procedure fails, again
Try to boot your system to "Safe Boot" by pressing F8 during startup.
Select "Safe boot"
Check if it can take you to desktop.
Unstalled the wi-fi driver and reboot.

Now create a restore point  and download the lastest version of your WI-Fi driver and installed.

This should work fine.

Otherwise Backup all your important data from your hard drive (mainly opearting system file installed drive usually C:\) and go for a new Installation.

Problem with wifi driver for acer aspire 4715z

This is very common problem for the new computers, they can not be retro-fitted to XP for the drivers were not designed for XP, only vista.

I would strongly suggest putting the computer back to Vista, and then the hardware that was installed on that computer will work its best. Since Service Pack 1 has been released for Vista most of Vista's 1st problems have been solved.
