Hello, in order to have air conditioning you need a evaporator coil, a outdoor condensing unit , a line set that connects the two to each other. You will have to have a cooling load calculation done so you know what size air conditioner you need for your home, also you will need to bring power to the outside unit from the main electrical panel in your house. If you turned this unit on right away after you received it you may haved damaged the compressor. You should always let a rfrigeration or a/c unit sit in its up right position for atleast 12 hrs. before operating, so that pressures and oil can equalize inside the system, unplug the unit and check the wires at the compressor and make sure they are still connected, Good luck.
Why should I tell you how I fixed the problem for free if you can't even tell me how to solve this problem for free. I just wanted to know what the error code meant and if it can be fixed or is the unit junk.
It could be the control board. I found out that this model air conditoner has had problems with moisture getting in the control panel and shorting it out when it's humid outside. I have the part number if anyone wants it. It cost me about $45 from Sears Parts.
