Canon Power Shot SX10 IS - I've had camera for about 4 months. As of a week ago, I can only use small view finder for taking photos; the 2.5 screen for viewing does not work now. Able to view photos previously taken. When viewing those photos, the ON/OFF light is GREEN, but is ORANGE the rest of the time. HELP! I want to photograph my new born granddaughter without using small view finder.

I thought I had the same "problem." The symptoms were identical. Try pressing the "disp" button to the right of the LCD screen a time or two to get the screen the way you want it. There are three settings: LCD off, LCD on, LCD on with grid marks. I'm a novice, but this worked for me!

You can reset the camera to factory settings. If after that, you still have the same problem, make valid the Canon warranty since it's 4 months old.
