Question about Nintendo DS Lite Console
I have a white DS lite and I got it the Christmas of 2007, so it's a little older. But, anyways my L button doesn't work right. Sometimes it won't respond when i press it like a normal button, and if that is the case and I press it pretty hard it will work. Another one (happened today) is if it won't work when i press it real hard, and if i pop it towards me and press it it will. It's weird and ANNOYING. Does anyone know how much that would cost to fix it? It is pretty important when it comes to MarioKart.
My green light doesn't work either, I dropped it one day and i guess the light cracked or broke. I guess i don't really need it considering when its on and no light it means its charged. but it would be nice to have it closed and on and know its on. Anyone know how much that would cost?
Pop it up with your teeth lick it then hold it and bang the l button on the side of a table so it will go back in hope this helped

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

My thought on this matter is that the mariokart game cartridge is bending the pins in the game socket (slot1) i maybe wrong but original cartridges have little plastic groves between the copper tracks, if one of these has been damaged some how ie: my son bit the end of his lol!, it could bend one or more of the pins inside the socket and therfore causing your problem, and a new socket is needed. Cheaper than buying a new ds, but requires good soldering skills.
As for the virus theory you never know, but i havent herd of one affecting the ds ....Yet!!

I have seen this happen when someone plugs the wrong charging cord up to the DS lite, Is there any chance some one did this to your DS lite.It sounds also as if the battery is not making proper connection.
I hope this gets you in business Atticus. Do not Vote until we get it working. Try this and add a comment to this problem posting. I will answer as soon as I possibly can. Thank you very much for the opportunity to solve your porblem with a DS Lite.
