ok you mean system restore to do this go to accessories from all programs from the start menu click on system restore follow the processes and then it begins restoring I assume you use Win 7 or xp

Can not open emails

If you were able to open emails earlier then this will work.
If you are using Windows XP


Let windows boot and log in to windows.

Go to 'Start'--->Programs--->Accessories--->System Tools--->Click 'System Restore'


A 'System Restore' window will appear.

Here you will have to check "Restore computer to an earlier time' and click Next


Now you will find one Month Calendar window with Dates below, go to the previous month by clicking the '


Note: It is better if you could remember from which date you are facing the issue, try to select a date prior to that date.


The detail of that particular date should show "System Checkpoint" and time on the right hand side box. Select that date.


Now, Click on Next and System Restore will start and windows will take a reboot.

After reboot your problem should be resolved.



If you are using Windows 7

1. Open the Start Menu.

A) Click on All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and System Restore.


2. Open the Control Panel (All Items View).

A) Click on the Recovery icon.
B) Click on the Open System Restore button.


A 'System Restore' window will appear. Here you will have to check "Restore computer to an earlier time'


A) Click on the Next button


Now you will find a window with Dates, Description and Type,

Note: It is better if you could remember from which date you are facing the issue, try to select a date prior to that date.


The detail of that particular date should show "System Checkpoint" and time on the right hand side box. Select that date.


Now, Click on Next and System Restore will start. Click on the Finish button and windows will take a reboot.

Why can't i restore my computer to an earlier date? When I try, I choose a date and then click next but nothing happens. I just stays at that screen.

may be u already deleted previous back up or restoring point .
or u r trying to restore it at a very earlier date and the date for this has been corrupted by a virus or some other means

Please restore your system to the earlier dates when you have uninstalled the total care. and to restore it in start menu go to the system tools and then system restore. and then restore it to the earlier time or date.

There are no sound in my lenovo 3000 G400 model

Please do the following changes. If you have the drive with you please reinstall the bluetooth driver or restore from a earlier date . for that
go to Start+Accerories+System tools and select Restore point. follow the process it will ask to set to a earlier date . select a date when your bluetooth was last recognized . If not select an earlier month and restore. It will then restart.

Just bought an acer aspire ax1200-b1581a.it worked fine for a few days now it will pop up there was a problem with the internet and shut the itnernet down,it started out going blue screen and at the bottom...

I think the problem is related to virus. Try restoring your PC to an earlier date 9 a date when it worked fine). You do this from Start-> Programs -> Accesories -> System Tools -> System Restore. Select
Restore my computer to an earlier time and Click Next. A date calender will appear, select the preferred date and click Next twice. The system will automatically restart when restoration is done.

If u are not abe to run System Restore then you need to enter safe mode by pressing F8 during booting and selecting Safe Mode from the menu that appears. In safe mode you will be asked a question, you have to select no, and system restore will start

If restoring your pc does not solve the problem then you may need to reinstall your OS.
