Use the Setup Menu option RESET.

This resets all the settings except DATE/TIME, TIME DIFFERENCE, BACKGROUND COLOR, BATTERY TYPE and VIDEO SYSTEM
to default values.
A confirmation dialog will be displayed, press the selector up or down to highlight OK and press MENU/OK

to understand to put it back to factory setting is the same as formatting the system
You need to understand that 3 false attempts with your PIN number and the phone is locked with the PUK code
If you forget your pin number( password or color code) you have to factory reset and that is all data lost unless you save everything to I cloud al the time

I have sony DSC-W190,i want correct menu setting ,bcos if i take a picture its not clear,i think may be menu setting changed, idnt any idea about menu setting pls help.....

Hi,

If the Menu settings in the camera is changed, then I suggest you to reset the Camera back to factory default. Initializing the Camera back to factory default will set all the settings in the Camera back to factory default.
To initialize the Camera back to factory default, select the INITIALIZE Option from the Main Settings 1 Menu of the Camera to OK.This will set the user defined settings back to factory default. The images and videos will not get deleted.
You can also try a manual reset;

Turn off the camera.

Remove the battery pack.

Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.

Allow the camera to remain without power for 60 seconds.

Reinsert the battery pack.

Turn on the camera.

The blurry image capturing can also adjusted by changing the ISO Settings or the Scene Selection modes.

Bought a Nikon P100 to replace a basic point and shoot dital camera. With children in sports, a shot from the stands is hard to 'get.' Now, all I get is blurry messes, unless it's in auto mode. Even the...

This camera is a bridge between the Point & Shoot (P&S) types and a "full blown" dSLR camera. It is very complex when compared the P&S type.

There are many areas of the manual the discuss the focus procedure, but you might want to simply perform a "RESET ALL" on the camera. This will return all the settings to their DEFAULT factory settings, thereby clearing any custom setting that could be responsible for the problem you are having. The instructions on how to do this and the settings defaults are shown on pages 171 through 173 of the manual. You will probably want to review them quickly before initiating the process.

After the reset, try taking some pictures to verify the focus works again. Next, feel free to change any setting from the default to one of your liking. Be sure to take a picture after EACH setting change to make sure you don't find yourself in the same situation again.

I hope this helps. Please rate my reply - thanks!

Fuzzy pictures

It's possible that some of the settings are set improperly on the camera. Try resetting the camera back to factory default settings and see if this makes any difference. To reset the camera - have the camera in shooting mode - go to Menu - left arrow to RESET - press Ok - highlight Yes and press Ok. This will set the camera back to factory settings. Try to take some images and see if they are still fuzzy.

I have wo black bands across the screen on my Pentax Option 550

have you tried changing the camera's settings back to default? in the camera's menu, find 'reset settings' or 'factory settings' or something like that to reset the camera settings.. you might have messed with some settings, otherwise it may be hardware failure, may be the LCD of your camera.. hope not so.. lol
