How do I correct the timing on a 05 Nissan pathfinder 4.0L? I have tried to find the diagrams but have been unable to locate the correct one to assist in the task I need to complete.

Did you buy the correct aftermarket wiring harness? It sounds like you need to run the red wire of the radio to a switched power source

Don't ever purchase a Nissan newer than a 2004. They are complete junk. I have an 05 Pathfinder that had all the records. I purchased this around 72,000. My wife & I have driven it for about 15k miles and have had that vehicle in the shop multiple times. Right off the bat, the vehicle had a leak that cost me 1200. While on a road trip, an easy fix but the thermostat went bad, $200. Among other things, Currently it is sitting down at my local trasmission shop and needs the valve body replaced- $1600. research Nissan before they take advantage of you by selling an overpriced vehicle that they consider top of the line but start having trouble around 100k, right when the extended warrenty is up.

try and disconnect the pos battery cable for a bout 10 minutes and see if this resets it make sure you have radio code in case ur radio locks

seems like your mass air flow meter is on its way out i had similar issue with my 98 pathfinder it did not throw a code until it finally went.

this sounds like a fuel pump problem,but i cant advise without stripping the sender unit and haveing a play so to speak

Also do the filter and gasket be careful to not overfill.
