Whenever your change from one video source to another, your tv automatically switches input modes (i.e. av1 to av2) to faciliate the source coming into your tv.

SOURCE: a/v settings

my husband and I were having the same problem with the universal remote, If you buy a universal remote make sure it has a input button and make sure you try all the buttons after you put in the code. For my universal I had to codes that worked but only one that let me fully use the controller. On the remote you should have a input button that is the button to change your tv to be able to us the av channels. Hope this helps

the two AV1 and AV2 have different inputs on the IC,
the first port has a disconnection,

SOURCE: can get tv to change to av1

The Input button on the original remote is needed to switch to the AV1 or AV2 connections. Unfortunately, I do not believe that the Sanyo DS27930 has an equivalent Input button on the TV. A replacement remote is available here: http://www.emtcompany.com/sanyo-ds27930-remote/rc64.html . Other universal remotes may be able to transmit the Input signal. You will need a remote that was programmed over 6 months after the TV was released with an Input or Source button. Then try all Sanyo codes until you find one that controls all of the features.

I hope this helps.

My tv sanyo cm21kf81A, chassis number FC3-G221 has snow noise on all tv channels, but AV1 and AV2 play good sound

First check cable wire or whatever is connected to set for channels--the leads are connected and wiggle them with set on to see if it clears up--could be a connection where cable wire is connected at end--loose connection there etc.

If tuner is bad causing this and you use a box for signal--most have rear audio/video outputs you can connect to a unused video/audio input on rear of set---bypass the tuner in the set and operate set that way changing channels on box instead of set.

let me know if you have questions or have more information.

Hi there, I am getting some problem in connecting my DVD player to LCD TV on AV2 port. If I connect the same to AV1 port,it works fine but that port is already in use for my set top box so if I want to...

I expect if you look at the menu you will find that AV2 is set up as S-Video or Component etc. etc. Set it up as composite or RGB. The same as AV1.

How do i change from av1 to av2 . . .av3 ? have remote . .

I think you can do channel down, or up, 'til you go below channel 2, or above channel 125. Then it toggles through external inputs.

Correct hookup from satilite receiver to dvd/vcr to tv

Av out from sat to AV1 on TV.
AV2 from tv to av in on dvd/vcr .
( if you can pick what av2 on the tv sends out set to send av1 out to record)
OR
AVout from sat. to AV1 on TV, AVvideo on sat to vcr/dvd.
The sat. system will act as a "play through" device so you can play vcr/dvd without changing the AV on the TV.
If you connect another lead in either option you may get a feedback loop causing audio "squeak" and video problems.
Post back to let me know if this helps.
