First of all, never reset a breaker more the once. If it trips twice it's not going to magically, "heal " if you keep resetting it.
Two possibilities. Bad breaker or internal short in the machine.
Replace the breaker with one not tripping and then check out the machine for shorts.
Just switching out parts is a less specific and more costly solution.

Check the treadmill "continuity" , the treadmill connections correctly grounded. If that is checked ok then either the outlet itself is bad .Try plugging the treadmill on another stronger outlet, such as a kitchen outlet..But if its still shorting out and blowing the fuse then its internal motor problem.The motor or its wiring is got weak,so when you press the start button the motor starts and treadmill turns off and blow fuse.--------- This should help.Thanks.Helpmech.

the circuit breaker probably only covers the motor anyway, and if this is the case then the problem has been isolated already.
it sounds like the motor has burnt out, and there is a short in it somewhere. the best (and safest) thing to do is to remove the motor and either just replace it, or have it tested by an electrician.
most repair shops will happily test a motor for free if you take it to them. it should only take a few minutes.
take the circuit breaker to them as well, as it is possible to have a faulty circuit breaker.

Dear Sir: BURNING SMELL If you can walk on your treadmill but you get a burning smell from it, you have a bad problem and discontinue use immediately and unplug the treadmill. Burning smells are most commonly associated with the following problems: 1) Very high belt/deck friction. 2) Short in the motor. 3) Short in the wiring or electronics. 4) Literally cooking the lacquer or cardboard core (on cheap machines) in the motor from belt friction or a drive system obstruction. Friction is the #1 cause of this problem. Many cheaper treadmills have a motor with a cardboard core (people wonder why we are so down on cheap treadmills) and if the voltage and amperage through the motor heats it up sufficiently, it begins to smolder. If this is the case, you normally have to replace the belt and the motor and inspect the deck. If the armature has cooked enough in the motor, you also have to replace the motor. If the belt and deck check out OK, check for a short in the motor. You can run the motor with an independent power source like a fullycharged cordless drill battery to see if the symptoms are the same. Click on the following link for our motor test. If the belt and deck check out and the motor is OK, then check your wiring and electronics for signs of scorching and replace the appropriate part(s).

1) Adjust the speed sensor, clean, and tight the connector very well

3) Test the motor input voltage, if there are the motor need repair.
4) Test the output voltage board, for input voltage motor,if there are the board is ffaulty.
RUN the software calibration for diagnose and troubleshooting.
Power issues with ProForm treadmills fit into two categories: the power does not turn on or the power shuts off when using the treadmill. If the power will not turn on, make sure that the treadmill is plugged into a working power outlet. In addition, you should use a single-outlet surge protector for the treadmill. Single-outlet surge protectors protect the machine from any voltage changes that may occur in your home.
If the machine is plugged into a working outlet, make sure the safety key is in the keyhole on the console. If the safety key is not plugged into the machine or if it is pulled out during operation, the treadmill will not operate.
Finally, make sure the circuit breaker located on the frame near the power cord is set to "Reset." The circuit breaker is set to "Reset" if the top of the button is pushed in. When the breaker is tripped, push it back to the "Reset" position and wait five minutes before powering on the treadmill.
If the ProForm treadmill shuts off during operation, check the power cord and circuit breaker as described above. You can also try removing and reinserting the safety key.
