Question about Stanton STR8-150 Turntable
I swear i have tried every damn forum on the net but i still cant find a solution to this!.....
i have a problem with my stanton str8.150.
the pitch adjust doesnt seem to be workin properly.
it doesnt lock. it seems to be playing at a slow speed between 0% and 50% when i go past that it kicks in.
The blue led doesnt come on either (although it works as it lights up if you press the pitch lock button)
I have tried cleaning it using a cotton wool bud and a solvent based cleaner but i still have no luck
There is a chip in the unit called a
phase lock loop ,( P.P.L )its use as station loc
for stereo turner. But the same applies.
Its drifting and unable to hold/lock
the signel is noisy that its trying to
lock on to (open ground) or the VCO
is out eather way it probley needs
to be replaced.
Hope that help a little
