Question about Car Video Players

Our VENTURER PVS6271 DVD PLAYER keeps playing upside down.

I have a set of Venturer PVS6271 tablet dvd players. Recently, they have both started playing the movies upside down on the screen. We haven't noticed that there is a problem with the sound, or the picture quality. We can't figure out why. Sometimes we can unplug it take out the dvd, and set it up again, and that will fix the problem, but other times, nothing will. Do you have a solution? Thanks.

Re: Our VENTURER PVS6271 DVD PLAYER keeps playing upside...

I called Venturer's support line. They are aware of the problem (a connection between the player and the monitor). True in my case because i can connect it to a television and it plays fine. For $45 (flat rate) they will repair or replace the units with new 1 yr warranty. The $45 includes their shipping it back to you, but naturally I'll have to play postage to send it to them. (The number I called was 800-252-6123)

The shipping address is:
Venturer Electronics (make check out to this name)
203 Eggert Road
Buffalo, NY 14215

I was given a reference number to put on the outside of the box, but I'm sure it was specific to my name and address they requested.

Good luck to you (and me)!

I have a Venturer PVS 7287 dual player. The player we use most will play the sound but the screen is a blank white. We've tried different DVD'S with the same results.

Venturer PVS7287 Twin Mobile DVD Player 8" LDC Screens - I was getting a blue screen with the DVD not loading. I could see the ribbon cable was just slightly off from the side of the optic eye board. I gently pushed it back on with the tip of a screwdriver. I didn't have to take the player apart, as you you can see the optic eye and the cable that attaches to it when the door is open and the DVD removed. Be careful with the ribbon cable, it is very thin.
