Alright, here's a FixYa if I've ever done one. We use a couple of products. This one will tend to knock your socks off, if you only need a single antenna. $50 gets you a wireless router that will do splash screen and redirect. For each element of $50 you can add units. They tend to be private, so if you're gaming via wireless, it's going to be difficult to share the network.

Give it a try.

When trying to login to www mywifiext net I get redirected to netgear

I had the same problem,my fix:
Connect your computer/laptop to your internet by a cable.
Connect to your extender via wireless network.
Then open a browser and go to
Now it should load the page without redirecting.

I know this is a old post, but it's the top google link when searching for this problem. If someone would have told me, it would have saved me a lot of time and rage!

If i open now my google, google custom search was appeared instead of google chrome

If you mean you type in and it redirects you to a custom search, it could be many things. If you are at work or school, they may have a firewall in place that redirects you to their google custom search. It could also be a temporary internet file or cookie that's redirecting you. If you're not behind a work/school firewall try deleting your browsers temporary internet files.

Unable to connect to other sites inside websites since internet explorer has downloaded internet explorer 8, I was playing multiple games from site with friends and have not been able since this download....

Hi There,
You can try other browsers like Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome. Am sure it will work better with any of these. It is always good to have these two as an alternative. If you are using a Mac, you can download Apple Safari.

I keep getting flashing "redirecting" and "connecting" when I want to go somewhere; also cannot change my password.

It may be that your internet signal is weak or the facebook page is busy. You can wait for a few hours or a day to connect to facebook. Usually this happens to me when my internet signal is weak(less than 70%).

Wireless Internet Access

Hi, Normally there should be an Icon at the system tray (lower right) which is for the WiFi. Placing your mouse over the icons would tell you what the icon is for. Right clicking on the WiFi icon would show you whether it is enable or disabled. Double clicking on it would give you the WiFi access window where you can select which WiFi network you can connect to. Some of these wireless internet cafe would grant free access while others would need you to check-in with their admin or somebody and on certain cafes for a fee. Hope this be of some help to you and pls post again how things turn up. Kind regards.
