Al 1642 cs drum light

al 1642 cs , i just changed the drum cartridge and the red light is still on, the instructions said after changing the drum the light would automatically go off, what happened or what can i do?

You need to press These keys; C- Auto- C -Auto , Display off.
24 Print, 7 Print , 00 will display then press C twice.
