Question about D-Link AirPlus Xtreme G DI-624 Wireless Router (DI624RE)

The power socket will only function with the lead flexed under tension to left or fight. When pushed straight in it will not connect.I it the lead or the input socket and is the socket replacable

Should be pretty straight forward... most of the time there is a diagram under the hood of the car or in you owners manual to give you a visual. It's best to snap a picture with your phone before you remove the belt. There is a tensioner pulley that you put a wrench or socket on and either pull or push, this releases the tension on the belt, with your free hand remove the belt from pulleys, place the new belt around the pulleys just as the old one came off, again put pressure on the tensioner pulley and slip the new belt on.

2012 Mazda 3 I touring Skyactiv - Takes a 38" 6 groove serpentine belt- Very hard to find. The only place I found besides the dealer it Advance Auto but they had to order from the warehouse. There are three grooved pulleys and a smooth tensioner. To relieve the Tensioner you will need a shallow 17MM socket, it is a bit difficult to see, but if you stand on the passenger side the mount point for the socket is to the left of the tensioner shock. The Tensioner shock is just above the smooth tensioner pulley. All the threaded pulleys' (Drive, A/C, and alternator are within the serpentine belt, the tensioner pulley is outside the belt pushing down on the belt. The easiest way to replace this belt, First remove the old belt by placing the socket on the mount point and pulling up on the ratchet towards the rear of the car, then pull belt off. Next remove socket, place the belt over the drive pulley (this is the one on the bottom to the rear of the engine. ( you will see there is another belt on this pulley on the back side.), then put the belt over the A/C pump bottom front. Keep tension on the belt so it stays in place. Now put that socket back on, push up to lift the tensioner pulley and slip the belt over the alternator pulley. Make sure the belt is sitting properly on each pulley and under the tensioner pulley. iPod Touch 4th Generation: Heat the surrounding edges of the iPod for 30 seconds
Begin at the bottom corner...used a straight blade to pry the glass up slowly; the LCD will come with it since they are fused together.
When you get closer to the top be very careful since the wifi cable is normally sticking to the glass. If it is use a small screw driver to detach it from the glass. The wifi cable is on the opposite side of the power button.
There is one flex cable (LCD) that can be removed; just a slight twist and it should pop off easily.
The other flex cable (Digitizer) is under the logic board and since you'd be replacing it you can cut this flex cable to work with more ease.
Remove the eight screws on the metal plate.
Remove the metal cover over the camera...screw driver on the very edge and pop up...do not use much force or dig at it since it would be very easy to destroy the camera.
To remove the metal plate that covers the batter: bottom left corner... dig your screw driver in (shallow) then push through horizontally until you reach the edge and lift the end of the screw driver upwards...using this method will allow the speaker to stay in place and the metal plate to separate.
Remove the top three screws
Put a screw driver between the logic board and the power flex cable as you gently lift the logic board up on that side...this method will ensure you don't rip the POWER flex cable
Do not lift aggressively...both cameras must be lifted gently, the adhesive is not that strong but there are some there.
The power and volume flex cable connection to the logic board is near the volume buttons, be extremely careful not to damage the connection when lifting the logic board.
Remove the copper tape surrounding the connection for the digitizer and install new digitizer.
Follow steps in reverse.

  • Place the drain pan under the radiator drain plug, open the plug and allow it to drain. Close the plug. Loosen the four nuts on the water pump pulley but do not remove them yet. Loosen the adjusting bolts in the alternator and the power steering pump with a wrench, push them away from the belts and remove the belts.
  • 2Remove the bolts securing the fan shroud to the radiator support using a 10 mm socket. Remove the four nuts on the water pump pulley, then remove the fan and shroud as an assembly. Remove the bolts in the crankshaft pulley using a socket. Loosen and remove the crankshaft bolt using a socket.

  • Remove the top radiator hose. Extract all the 10 mm bolts securing the top and bottom timing covers and remove the covers.
  • 4Install the crankshaft bolt temporarily. Use a socket on the bolt and turn the crankshaft clockwise until the mark on the crankshaft sprocket aligns with the timing mark on the block at the 12 o'clock position. Look at the camshaft sprockets and make sure the left sprocket has the "I" facing straight up and the right sprocket has the "E" facing up. At the same time, notice that there is a line on each sprocket adjacent to each mark--make sure they line up with the notch on the cylinder head at 12 o'clock. This allows for perfect alignment. If they do not come close to aligning, rotate the crankshaft one more time and they will align.
  • 5Loosen the tensioner bolt and push the tensioner away from the belt. Loosely tighten the bolt to maintain position. Remove the belt.
  • 6Install the new belt starting on the right side away from the tensioner. Keep all the tension on the right side. Loosen the tensioner bolt and allow it to apply tension on the belt. Do not tighten the bolt yet. Rotate the engine two turns clockwise and re-align the timing marks. Tighten the tensioner bolt to 35 foot-pounds.
  • 7Install the timing belt covers. Remove the crankshaft bolt and install the crankshaft pulley. Reinstall the bolt and tighten. Install the radiator shroud and fan as an assembly. Place the fan on the water pump pulley, install the four nuts loosely, install the bolts in the fan shroud and tighten.
  • 8Install the belts around the crank pulley, water pump pulley and alternator and pull the alternator up to tension the belt and tighten the bolts using a socket. Tighten the water pump pulley nuts using a wrench.
  • 9Install the belt on the power steering pump, pull the pump out to tension the belt and tighten the bolts. Install the upper radiator hose. Fill the radiator with antifreeze

      Open the hoodto access the engine compartment. Unscrew the battery cables from the batteryterminals with a socket wrench.

      Locate thealternator on the front of the engine. The engine is side-mounted so thealternator will be pointing towards the passenger's side fender on the top leftcorner. Then locate the tensioner pulley under the alternator.

      Insert a baresocket into the square hole on the tensioner pulley. Loosen the tensionerpulley with the socket wrench by pushing the tensioner down to loosen the belt.Remove the belt from the alternator pulley.

      Disconnect thewiring at the top of the alternator by pulling off the harness. The remainingwiring will be attached to a stud. Unscrew the stud with a socket wrench thenpull off the wiring.

      Unscrew thethree bolts with a socket wrench that secure the alternator to the mountingbracket. There is one bolt on top, one on the bottom and one on the right-handside of the alternator. Pull the alternator out of the mounting bracket.

      Position thenew alternator into the mounting bracket. Start threading the three bolts byhand. Tighten the bolts with the socket wrench once all the bolts are started.

      Push theboot-shaped wiring harness onto the new alternator. It will lock into placewith a click. Unscrew the nut on the stud with the socket wrench then place theremaining wiring lead onto the stud. Tighten the nut over the wiring with thesocket wrench.

      Loosen thetensioner pulley by pushing it down with the bare socket wrench. Place the beltover the alternator pulley then release the socket wrench. The tensioner willautomatically tighten the belt.

      Connect thepositive and negative cables on the battery. Tighten the cables with the socketwrench.

      Start the carto test the new alternator. Allow the car to run for five to 10 minutes. Shutthe car off and let it sit for an hour. Attempt to start the car. If the carstarts, then the alternator is working correctly. Close the hood when done.

    Replaced engine belt on 1999 saab 9.5 old belt broke thought their would an adjustable that i could move to get new belt on then tighten it back up


    These should have a belt tensioner pulley........It is designed to be pushed up or down to slide the belt over the pulley that is mounted to the tensioner.....Normally the tensioner will have a square slot in it to put a 3/8 or a 1/2 in ratchet head into it and move it up or down.....Some tensioners are designed to put a socket or wrench on the pully bolt head..then push tensioner in tightening position to flex tensioner and slide belt over pulley.....It has to be one or the other......Just look very closely at the pulleys...Some tensioners have an arrow on the side of it showing which direction to push it to re-install the belt....It is mounted sperately by itself....It is called Serpentine Belt Tensioner .......................................It is self adjusted...It is flexed up and down very fast while it is running and if it ever gets loose from age you just replace it.......There is no nut and bolt adjustment for a serpentine belt..................Hope this helps.....................................Metalpoet

    How do u change the timing belt on a 1990 4 cylinder honda accord?


    Disconnect the wire harness at the distributor.Remove the spark plug closest to the drivers side front tire. Place the palm of your hand over the valve covers empty spark plug hole and have a helper crank the motor over until air pressure pushes past your the palm of your hand. Next, look at the cam shaft wheel and note the direction that the arrow is pointing, the arrow should be pointing straight up IN RELATION TO THE ENGINE not the earth. If it is not, you will need to manually rotate the engine till the cam wheel is infact pointing straight up. Next, Jack up the front of the car and support it with jack stand and remove the front drivers side tire.Next, support the weight of the engine with a floor jack remove the motor mount closest to the drivers side tire To remove it you will need a deep 17mm socket on a heavy duty breaker bar. Next, loosen and remove the power steering belt and alternator belts. To loosen and remove the belts you will need a 10mm wrench and a 12mm wrench. And also a 14mm or 15mm wrench. Next, use a 19mm socket AND an air powered IMPACT wrench to remove the bolt holding on the crank shaft pulley. Next, remove the crankshaft pulley. Next, use a 10mm wrench and/or 10mm socket and remove the bolts holding the plastic engine side cover. Next, loosen the 14mm or 15mm bolt which secures the 2 belt tension wheels. Next, LOOSEN the 10mm bolt that is on the balance shaft tensioner. The balance shaft is the cogged wheel with a small timing mark dot on the side of the wheel. Next, loosen the 10mm bolt on the timing belt tensioner. It's obvious what wheel is the timing belt tensioner. Next, remove the 12mm bolt on the back side of the block (near the balance shaft) a little bit of oil will drip out, this 12mm bolt will allow a long bolt to be inserted into a recessed channel of the balance shaft. This recessed channel is needed to lock the balance shaft in place. A bolt from the air conditioner works great for locking the balance shaft in place. You're basically just pushing the bolt in a hole to keep the balance shaft from spinning.890a27a.jpg Next, remove both the balance shaft belt and timing belt. Then reverse the procedure to complete the new belt installation. EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!! PLEASE NOTE, the oil pump wheel furthest to the left (closest to the radiator), has a timing mark on the flat face side of the wheel, that timing mark has to be pointing directly to the 9:o'clock position in relation to the engine. The cam wheel has an arrow on the side of one of the "spokes" ...make sure it is pointing straight up in relation to the engine...straight away from the crank shaft. Put the crank wheel on with the arrow pointing straight up to the center of the cam wheel.

    To right side and up and over the Lower Idler Pulley.
    To under and around the left side of the Tensioner Pulley,
    Connecting to the Left Side and Up and over the AC.

    Lexmark T644 left side of prints faded. New toner cartridge, transfer roller, Charge roller, left&right transfer roll arm, HVPS & laser unit. Same problem Please help


    pull the toner cartridge out leave the bottom front cover open and bring down the top cover. with a flashlight check to make sure the charge roller is comming down straight if it comes down even. check to make sure the transfer roller has spring tension on the left side if the pring tension is present you will need to clean the flat leading edges of the mirror motor drive inside of the scanner located under the top cover.
