The player does not play mp3 formated cds
I guess it could be a CODEC issue. You can download CODEC packs here:

hi there, for take musik from cd´s you need a "cd ripper". A cd ripper you can get here: (star burn)

For security reasons you should upgrade to WMP 11 immediately. To burn cd's use another, specialized, program - it will be faster and it will have a better audio quality.

Try this... not sure its this that is causing the problem
but after a quick search on google it says that you probably have spyware installed on your computer
