Is there another way of getting to numbers on stero so you wont have to take out

usually the volume dail will slecet the numbers so say if u have a 7 in the code u would turn the volume controll. do u have the instructions for said stero? if not googled it. it will go through things step by step. be carefull cause if u get it wrong to often it will lock ur stero completey

We are assuming that recently disconnected the battery and the radio lost power support, then the device is asking about the lock code to sure that this isn't a theft condition. This code is in the last pages of the owners manual; if you dont have this document, need to visit your delaer with the VIN number and showed that you are the owner. This lock code is unique e\for each vehicle and just the Ford dealer could give you.

go to your dealer with that number and your VIN number that is the only way to get the code

code can be aquiered at the dealer from your cars vin. should be 4 numbers.

need to get serial number off of radio 1st which is above bar code on label on top of radio (remove from car or remove trim to read) then can obtain, need to know what radio brand also, philips, sanyo or boss

only the dealer can get that information

depends on type of fuse box there are a couple they fitted but cigarette lighter fuse is F36 AUDIO FUSES ARE F19 AND F34

turn key on and hold down buttons 2 and 3 for 5 sec. radio should display a 4 didgit code. call dealer for unlock code. after getting code use seek and scan buttons to enter code then press th am/fm button.

need wiring harness clip and install kit. It is pretty easy after that if you aren't installing amp or subs. what is your question, how to get factory radio out?

First make sure that the code has not been noted somewhere within the car (underneath the ash tray, glove box , rear of sun visor etc) 

To see if your code is available here for free then the radio will have to be removed from the dashboard (and if you are lucky, someone may have written the code on the casing ) .

If not then POST ANOTHER QUESTION

note: Unfortunately not all radios can be decoded using the Serial Number 

If not then try your Main Dealer ...........or take it into a Decode Service who will plug in a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM). This takes a few minutes and shouldn`t be too expensive
