Question about D-Link Computers & Internet
I'm trying to setup my Microsoft mail. What is the incoming & outgoing mail server? I was sent a password on the text. the password for the router was changed with setup. will the new password for the WiFi also be my e-mail password?

because you have a third party email account you will have to go into the email accounts and in options look for my outgoing server requires authentication and tick the box. You may also need autorization from bt as they may not allow the incoming emails. also check that any antivirus programmes arent stopping the outgoing mail and putting them in the outbox.

www.routerlogin.com is not asking password here, but some of their features, as online search are not working, evidently they are passing throught some kind of trouble with the website.
Here is netgear help page for your router
The search box does not work but you can open knowledge base pages.
If you need your own router default password instead: User is 'user'
Password is 'password' or '1234'

This problems is due to the MTU (Maximum Transfer Unit) set in the router. I checked my Belkin and I could not find where to set it. It is usually under the advance tab in most routers.
I found a utility that will change it on the NIC card. Download and run DRTCP021.exe and set the MTU to 1452 if you have DSL or 1500 if you have cable. Set the MTU # in the MaxMTU box next to the NIC card shown.
copy and paste the complete link into your browser.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
