Question about Bowflex TC3000 Treadclimber
Not sure about the loud noise but my issue with the l5 error was a simple adjustment to the speed sensor.. take of the left and rear covers, then look for the sensor that goes into the red grommet attached by 2 wires. slide a business card in between the wheel and the red grommet.. then make sure the speed sensor is pushed all the way against the card and then remove the card. that solved mine :)

There is a maximum weight limit on these machines-refer to your handbook-i found i was hurting my treadmill 20kgs back now she loves me.
