You will need to create a wnos.ini file and set the connection commands in there. Then make it available on an FTP site.

Use DHCP option tags 161 (ftp server) 162 (ftp path) to tell the terminal where to get the wnos.ini file.

Look on youtube for "Wyse Thin OS configuration" for a video detailing the setup procedure.

You can also get a config generator to make the wnos.ini from technicalhelp.de website.

That should set you up nicely :)

How to factory reset without recovery disk

When you need to recover part or all of the files on your Acer Veriton M460 desktop computer, Acer makes it easy to do by offering a built-in recovery program called eRecovery Management.
This option uses clean operating system files, usually stored on a separate partition of your hard drive, to correct errors or return the system to its original factory settings.
You can also use this program to write separate hard copies of the eRecovery program onto CDs or DVDs in case of hard drive failure.
Create Backup Disks

If your M460 did not come with separate recovery disks, and many machines don't in recent years, you can create your own through "Acer's eRecovery Management" program located under the "Start" menu.
Click on "Backup," select "Create Factory Default Disk" and follow the on-screen directions.
The program will inform you of the number of CDs or DVDs you need and help you through their creation.
Recovery with Disks
To use your created disks for recovery, place the first disk in the optical drive and reboot the system. As it boots, hold the "ALT" key and tap "F10" repeatedly until the computer boots and you see a screen titled "Starting Acer eRecovery."
You will see three options for recovery: to factory default, from user backup or from CD/DVD. Choose the option you desire and follow the on-screen directions to initiate the recovery sequence.
Recovery from the Hard Drive

Since Acer places the eRecovery Management program directly onto the computer, you can run the recovery option while in your desktop.
Open the "Acer eRecovery Management" program under the "Start" menu and click "Restore." You can choose to restore the computer to factory defaults and lose all the personal data stored on the hard drive or only restore the operating system and leave your data intact.
Select "Yes" on the confirmation screen and then "OK" to start the program.
Recovery Vs. Restore
When performing computer problem solving, the term "recovery" is often used interchangeably with the word "restore."
In some cases, "recovery" can mean to simply correct problems, such as replacing corrupted operating system files with good ones.
The term can also refer to "recovering" the system to its fresh-from-the-factory state, which is what "restore" means as well.
Restore Drivers or Applications

Acer's eRecovery Management program also offers the option to reinstall drivers or applications, which could become corrupted or damaged over time.
This option allows you to replace the current drivers for your Windows operating system with the ones originally installed on your system.
Under the "Restore" tab of the "Acer eRecovery Management" program, click "Reinstall Drivers or Applications" to see the content list and select the files you'd like to recover.

HP System Software Manager

The HP Remote Support Software Manager is an application installed on HP desktops and laptops, that enables Remote Assistance on the computer for HP personnel access. This Remote Support client allows a technical support representative from HP to see and control your computer to assist you with making changes on the machine. The HP Remote Support Software Manager may be safely uninstalled from the computer. Uninstalling this application will not affect any other functions and features. However, you should create a Restore Point prior to uninstalling any software just in case problems arise with the changes. Create Restore Point in System Restore Click the Windows "Start" button and then right-click on the "Computer" entry. Click "Properties" from the context menu. Click the "System Protection" link in the left navigation pane. Click the tab labeled "System Protection" and then click the "Create" button. The Create button label indicates that this action will create a System Restore Point now. Type a description for the manually created Restore Point and click "Create." The System Restore Point is manually created. Uninstall HP Remote Support Software Manager Click the Windows "Start" button and select "Control Panel." Click the "Programs" link in the Control Panel. Click "Programs and Features." The list of installed programs will appear. Locate the HP Remote Support Software Manager in the list and click the entry. Click the "Uninstall" button on the top navigation bar. Type the "Administrator" password, if prompted, and click "Continue." The program is uninstalled from the computer and the entry disappears from the Programs list.

Cant call out or in off of ny black berry 8520

Go to your Options : Security >> Security Options (the same page where you can enable/disable passwords) & scroll to the bottom. If there's an IT policy attached, it will be mentioned there. Remove the IT policy using these instructions

Procedure
Step 1 : Ensure the Blackberry Desktop Manager is installed using Blackberry Internet Service, and not Blackberry Enterprise Server. If you are unsure, it would probably be a good idea to uninstall the Desktop Manager and start again. If you don't have the CD that came with your Blackberry, the Software can be downloaded here.

Step 2 : Download the file policy.bin and save it in your Blackberry installation directory (C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry).

Step 3 : Wipe your Blackberry, creating a backup if necessary. Select Options/Security/Wipe on the Device. If this option is unavailable, you may have to install the latest software on your Blackberry. You need to Download and install the latest OS for your device. Connect your device, open the Desktop Manager, select Application Loader, and follow the prompts.

Step 4 : Close the Desktop Manager if it is open.

Step 5 : From the Windows XP Start Menu select Run..., and at the prompt type regedit. In the tree on the left hand side, navigate to:

HKEY_Current_Users\Software\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\PolicyManager

Right-Click the Policy Manager Folder and select New/String Value. Name the value Path. Now, Double-Click the Path Subkey and set Value Data to:

C:\Program Files\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\policy.bin

Step 6 : Open the Desktop Manager.

Step 7 : Connect the Device. Verification Once complete, the Options/Security screen on your Blackberry should not contain references to an IT Policy, you should now be able to change all settings (including password prompts), and install Third Party Applications.

I installed system mechanic professional and hit the drive scrubber button and wiped out my hard drive completely. i tried to install widows vista and i it won't allow it to install. i get a file error...

In that case it affects the file system of your hard drive that's why it fails the windows vista installation. In order to fix it you need to delete the partition of your hard drive and create a new one using a partition manager software.
If you can connect your hard drive into another computer you can perform a disk partition using the Disk Management (In Windows XP: Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Computer Management > Storage > Disk Management)

To help you with the procedure on "How to use Disk Management."

Using Disk Management, after creating a partition in your drive, proceed to formatting.
