Sorry, but I don't think you can use the rca's for an aux-in. I bought a deh-10 new and there is nothing in the owners manual that even mentions useing the rca's for an aux-in.
Used it long enough to opperate it in the dark and nothing in the setup menues for changing those rca's from outs to ins.
if the radio requires a code make sure you know it... unplug the battery for about 10 minutes or so.... hook it back up and turn on the radio... set your presets again and it should be fine.... it does sound like the battery power to it is being interupted tho.
With cd player off, press and hold the funciton button I think that gets you in. I remember th stereo, but can't remember exactly how off the top of my head. Now, if you were here in pwerson, no problem lol!
1) turn off the radio. 2) Push and hold the power button down (the dial). DON'T release the button. 3) The unit will display the time on the lcd screen with the numbers flashing, (only hr or min). 4) use the up/dwn, right/left buttons to set the clock. 5) turn off the unit by pushing the power button (again, the dial).
Hi. don't know if this is too late..??
While listening to music, push and hold the SRC button until you only
have the clock display up. Then push and hold the Audio button until
the hours blinks. Use the up/down buttons to set the hour, then the
right arrow to get to the minutes. When finished, push and hold the
SRC button until you get the music back.
