Question about Heating & Cooling
I have been given a Homebase air cooler Model MF-588A but i have no user instructions, the top panel opens and there are 2 icepacks inside which i have now frozen but do i have to fill the compartment with water, there is a large compartment in the top wwith a small one to the side of it and a window at the bottom with Max and Low on it that makes me think it should have water in it
I don't know why but I kept the instructions -
Lift the top cover and fill the smaller compartment with water - takes 11 litres from empty. Water level is seen on the window to the front.
Ice packs are placed in the larger compartment (That is all this compartment is for - Not to be filled with water)

I did not have instructions with my second hand one but you can see how it works you must fill it up with water first from the top the small compartment takes the water straight to the tank, the large compartment does the same but first soaks the cloth inside, now if you took off the filter panal off the back you will see the cloth..switch it on the cooler and press the two icey breeze buttons now you can see at the back the cloth is moving keeping it wet from the tank of water making a cold breeze.
