Stopping mid wash cycle with E20 showing

I have a Zanussi Jetsystem 1000 which was left in my house with no instruction manual. It has been working fine for the last few months but today it stopped mid wash cycle and beeped continuously. The LED screen showed E20. Not having a manual I don't know what this means. Can you help?

My Zanussi Jetsystem Timeline washer/dryer starts its wash cycle, but when it comes to draining, it wont drain and flashes E20.

Have you taken the filter out at the front of the washer and cleaned it. Mine wouldn't drain but once I did that it worked ok.

Hello,

Error code E20 relates to the pump/filter blocked.Drain the water either manually through the filter or drain hose.Check that filter is clean and pump can turn by hand.

Hope this helps.

Error E20 means the machine has failed to pump out. 1st check the filter at the bottom right hand side there may still be water inside if so pull the grey tab to the left of the filter there should be a thin hose extend it put it into a shallow dish and pull the cap off to let the water drain this may be a slow process. When the filters out look into the hole with a torch to see if any obstructions in the pump impeller this looks like a cross. If the filters and pump are clear it may be the pump has failed.

Washing machine keeps stopping

pull the machine out and put the drain hose into a bowl to empty the water out when you have emptied it try cleaning the pump filter and check the drain system for blockages if that is ok then it looks very much like your door interlock is duff good luck and rate me.....
