Turn off voicemail tracfone

Delete voice mail by going through the keypad on your cell phone. The actual procedure depends on the kind of cell phone that you own. For example, on the Nokia 1100, hold down the "1" key while you are on standby. Tracfone connects you to your voicemail, where you can follow spoken menu instructions to listen to your voicemail. After you hear the voice message, you're asked if you want to delete your recordings.

This is not recommended, because connecting in this way uses up your minutes even if you just want to listen to them.

Use your landline phone to delete messages if you want to avoid using your Tracfone minutes. Turn off your cell phone so it doesn't ring and then call your cell phone number from a landline.

Press the "*" (star) key as soon as you hear your voice mail greeting. Then enter your password number and press the "#" (pound) key.

Listen to the instructions for accessing your voice mail, which can vary slightly depending on the phone you have. You are told the number of new and old messages you have, how to listen to them and how to store or delete them. Press the number for listening to the message to hear it, and then the number for deleting.

If I remember correctly, just turn phone on. Press & hold the #1 button & it will ring & then give you instructions how to set up voicemail

From the home screen tap the phone icon, then from the phone or dialer tab tap voicemail icon or tap and hold the number 1 key.When connected follow instructions.

To call your Voice Mail from a landline phone:
1. Call your TracFone from a landline phone.
2. When your voicemail begins, press the star key on your landline phone immediately.
3. Enter the PIN you use to check your Voice Mail from your TracFone. When you have finished entering your PIN, press the pound key.
4. Listen to the instructions. They will tell you how many voicemail messages you have and give you options for checking them, deleting them, saving them or storing them as new messages. Phones may vary, so listen carefully to the options.

You can't check your voicemails from your phone. Without minutes and/or remaining service time, your TracFone won't let you make any calls. But if you turn off the phone and call it from another one, you should be able to access your voicemail that way. Press the * key when you hear your outgoing message, enter your passcode and you can listen to any messages. Buy some time for your phone before your service time expires. If you wait too long after the due date, you'll lose your phone number.

i can't remmember my voicemail passcode

To retrieve your voice mail from another phone, dial your number, once the voice mail prompts, enter " * " **STAR**
it will ask for your password, enter it, and away you go....

Your voicemail box has been reset. To set up and retrieve voicemail from
your TracFone:

Press the MENU key,
Scroll to MESSAGE and press SELECT,
Then scroll to VOICEMAIL and press the MENU key,
Next scroll to VOICEMAIL SETUP and press SELECT,
The VOICEMAIL Access Number should be: +17044089979 and press the OK
key (if there is no + sign, please press and hold the 0 key until it
comes up).
If the numbers there are different, press and hold the key below the
word CLEAR or DELETE until all the numbers disappear from the screen.
Then enter the number 17044089979 and press OK.
After programming the Voicemail Access Number on handset, please turn
the phone off and back on.
Then, press and hold the 1 key to auto-dial the VOICEMAIL box to record
greeting and complete setup.

Your temporary password can be 0000, 1111, 9999, the last 4 digits of
your wireless number, or another 4-digit number easy to remember.
All calls made to your voicemail from your TracFone will deduct airtime
units. To avoid being deducted airtime, it is recommended that you
contact your voicemail from a land line phone, by dialing your ten-digit
mobile number. To retrieve voicemail messages from a landline phone,
please follow the instructions below:

1. From your landline phone, dial your TracFone Number.
2. When you hear the greeting, press the star (*) key. If the star key
does not interrupt the greeting, press the (#) key.
3. Enter your password and follow the retrieval instructions.

go to the voice mail options on your phone then press on something containing to voice mail number then put in 1 then area code and then the number if that don't work call voice mail and Lessen for voice mail options and do the same
