No picture on screen
I recommend you to uninstall and reinstall display drivers since the issue could be with the corrupted display drivers.
Press Windows key and R key simultaneously to open Run window.
Type devmgmt.msc and click on OK.
In Device Manager, expand display adapter.
Right click on display device and select Uninstall.
If you are prompted to restart the computer, restart it.
On restarting the computer, windows will redetect the display device and reinstalls the video drivers automatically.

It could be a memory problem,try removing one stick [if you have more than one] n then boot,later try booting with the one you removed. The other problem could be overheating,check if the fans are working properly or if they are looking dusty then try cleaning it with some compressed air.disconnect any other components from the laptop,like the modem or wireless card. There are other solutions but requires disconnecting cables from inside...I won't suggest you to do that unless you know how to do it.
