Check the thermo again, it might be going out due to a short in the element, or obstructed venting causing too much heat, clear venting or replace therm/heating element if needed.

the thermostat is shorted out, You need to change that and the run diagnostic to clear the code which is high temp ,heated dry, high temp ,heated dry, high temp heated dry key dance and let it do its thing. When it is done you should have no more problems. If you change the thermostat. Usually locate near the front under the near the electrical box but not always.

Dryer tumbles, no heat, thermo fuse has been changed. Can it be the cycling thermostat or the heating element?

If you have changed the thermal fuse you may have a defective thermal cutoff (located at the top of the heater housing in the back). The thermal cutoff will come with the high limit thermostat located at the bottom of the heater and you should change both parts if the thermal cutoff is bad.
You can take both of the parts (the heater and the thermal cutoff) to a parts supplier to have them checked for continuity (they should both read "closed" if they are good).
Good luck to you!

Dryer wouldn't work last week. Found the Thermal Fuse with no continuity and replaced it. After drying one load of clothes yesterday, dryer won't work again. I suspect the thermal fuse again. What else ...

Or your breaker. The dryer will work just won't heat with the thermal cutoffs or element or the breaker. Dryer won't do anything if the thermal fuse is bad. You might also want to check the outlet from L1 to N and L2 to N for 110 on each side. Good luck.

You say you change the kit must be an electric dryer. Did you replace the whole kit you must replace the thermal cutoff and the high limiter both they come in the kit You may check the other fuse its just above you thermostadt on the other side of the dryer on the back about 2" long all white and plastic.

Dryer shuts off before load is dry. it will not turn back on for about a half an hour. is this an easy fix?

Yes it is. It is more than likely your high limit thermostat. The high limit thermostat is located on the back of the dryer after the heating element, (right before the entrance into the drying chamber). They high limit and thermal cutoff usually come as a kit because they should be replaced at the same time. The thermal cutoff is located on or around the body of the heating element. good luck!
