New Xm, went through the steps in manual; no sound in car

The stations you set it to have to be complete static for the xm to come in. Your best bet if you head unit has an aux input is to buy an aux cable(few dollars) and hardwire it. it will give you the best quality for sound for xm.

USA - EUrope FM band stations frequency differences

I have a car stereo purchased from the US and I can’t pick up all radio stations in Europe/UK, what can I do?
If you have purchased a car stereo from the US you will find that it will not pick up many European radio stations. This is due to the fact that US radio frequency steps are different to here in Europe.
You may be able to set the tuner to European stations by following this procedure.
Press and hold down the SRC button to power down the unit completely.
While the unit is off press button 1 & 5 together, while momentarily pressing the SRC button.
If this does not work try the following proceedure;
Press and hold buttons 1 and 5 together, while momentarily pressing the reset button.
If this does not work then the unit is not designed to pick up European frequency steps.

LPF and Sub Woofer settings missing from menu

I had the same problem and I just worked it out. Its because your pre-out is not switched to 'subwoofer'. It will be on 'rear' instead. Go into the menu when its in standby and change the SWPRE option to subwoofer and then your subwoofer options will be back in the menu !

Do you lose them only after the car is turned off? if so, your 12 volt Costant wire (yellow) is hooked to a switched 12 volt source.

Very weird Radio Tuning Problem

This is a USA model and by default in the USA all FM stations end in an Odd number. This is completely normal. you can try holding preset 1 and 5 down while pressing the reset button on the unit and it may allow you to switch to a Europe style of tuning.
