Get a card reader from radio shack (they make universal ones for approx. $19) they last forever and come in handy, plug it in to your computer , if you dont have a computer go to the local cvs and plug it in to there photo counter and erase the card of choose format as an option. this clears the card. or look for format in the camara options. good luck!

Camera saying memory full but card brand new

Not only the size is important, the manual says SD max 2 GB.
But even a 1GB SDHC card won't work, because the camera is not compatible with SDHC and SDXC.
They used to make SD cards up to 4 GB, but most new cards from 1 GB and up are SDHC and above 32 GB the cards are SDXC. Older camera's can't handle these cards, although they look the same.

Internal memory full

Internal memory is full after you shot only a few pictures Actualy you only have 11 Megabyte free for pictures. If you want to make more pictures, you have to insert a SD memory card. Make sure you buy a SD and not a SDHC or SDXC card, because nothing in the manual says your camera is compatible with these bigger cards.
If you happen to have a SDHC card you are free to try if it works, but don't buy one unless you are sure it works.

My kodak Easy Share C513 say internal memory is full . I purchases a new card SanDisk SDHC Card 4 GB and when I turn the camera on it continues to say internal memory is full. Please help...

With no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format" and follow the on-screen instructions to erase the internal memory. After that, your card should work properly.

Hi, got new kodak camera and 4gb memory sd inside. i only took 8 pictures so far and said internal memory full. i dont understand why? i want to keep 8 pictures and it should be plenty as using 4gb and...

4GB "SD" cards are almost always actually SDHC (high capacity) cards. SD and SDHC cards fit the same slots, but they are slightly different electrically. Many cameras won't work with SDHC cards. SDHC is not backwards compatible.

So your camera is not able to use the 4GB card, and is ignoring it and using internal memory only. That memory is tiny and won't hold many pictures, and when it is full, the camera cannot work at all. You need to delete the pics in the internal memory and get a memory card your camera can understand (2GB or less).

New 4G memory card states full have re-formatted but still shows full. Have tried a 2G card but that is ok to use any ideas please

Your new 4GB card is an SDHC card. The S700 works with MMC and SD cards. While SDHC cards will fit into the slot, they are electronically incompatible and will not work. You need to go with cards 2GB and smaller.

Why does my internal memory say it is full when I have a card in it I have a C613 Kokak

The internal memory is separate from the card. It may be full (it's really small) and preventing the camera from writing to your card. If that's the case, do this...with no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format" and follow the on-screen instructions to erase the internal memory. After that, your card should work properly.

MEMORY FULL MESSAGE WITH NEW MICRO SDHC MEMORY CARD

Your camera may be telling you that the internal memory is full. With the card out of the camera, go into the menu and find "format" to erase the internal memory.

Memory card saying "full" when its not

Your problem is that you are using an incompatible type of memory card.

Your camera was designed to use SD cards with a maximum capacity of 2GB. It cannot use larger capacity models, and is also incompatible with the later SDHC cards.

SDHC cards are the same shape and will fit your camera, but have differences beneath the skin and so won't work properly in your camera. Without any memory card in place your camera uses internal memory; it's then only by lucky chance that your camera has sufficient SDHC compatibility to allow you to transfer the internal memory image to the SDHC card when you subsequently insert it into your camera.

Your only solutions are to either use an SD card with a maximum capacity of 2GB or to replace the camera with a later model which is fully SDHC compliant.

The camera doesn't accept new memory card put into the camera

Sorry that this answer is far too late to be of use to you, but it may help others searching for advice with the same fault. I only stumbled across your unanswered question by accident.

8GB is an SDHC card. Your camera was designed to use the earlier SD cards instead with a maximum 1GB capacity.
