Question about PUR (FM-9500) Air Purifier
I had the same problem with it falling off the faucet, as does everyone obviously. I only had it one week. I called Pur at the customer service number on their website. Be prepared for a long wait, but it is definitely worth it. They have this problem a LOT and have assigned a special button to push if you have this problem. You go directly (well after a very long wait) to something I guess they call www.katz.com. If you used adapter A they have a FREE replacement adapter to stop the problem of it falling off. It is a metal thread adapter (not the plastic one that strips so easily) to replace it. They send it FedEx and it takes 7 business days. I just talked to them about an hour ago and they are sending it right out. Now I just hope the system itself is not ruined from the falls it has taken. If so, back to the store with the whole thing to be replaced. At least I will already have the better adapter this time.
