Question about RCA F36650 36" TV
I also brought a rca 52" hdtv and thought i was getting a great deal until about two ago.Thee dag thing started shutting down then it on come ror should i say the green light come on for about 10 sec then shut down. Now here my problem, Im disable and my income just ain't going to reach that far.I know where the flyback and the horizontal is,how do you get the red wire off the flyback so i can desolder it and chance it. email is firstname.lastname@example.org
It actually comes of the tube, it is just clipped in there. Warning!! before you do this, rig up a small screw driver, tie a wire to the metal part, on the other end of the wire hook up a alligator clip or a clamp, the tie a really long wooden handle to the screwdriver. You will use this to discharge the tube safely. The picture tube carries enough charge to kill you even after it has been turned off!!! The lethal charge can remain in it for up to three days.
