The photo on the left shows Centronics (printer portion) to Parallel (CPU portion) cable connector.

The photo on the right shows a USB printer cable.

So, it depends what your printer uses.

Cpu fan is locked

The CPU fan if no longer spinning. To confirm this, you need to open the RIP cage cover. If the CPU fan is not moving, check if the CPU fan cable is properly connected to the J-Fan1 on the RIP board. If it not, please connect it properly. If it is connected, you will need a replacement RIP board.

I am trying to add my new printer. I have a Lexmark Z517. When I go to add my printer I can not find this particular printer. Please help!

if you directly attached your printer to your cpu, then try to re-install the driver, but if you are only aquiring connection from the network then check your workgroup it should be the same with the cpu which the printer installed.

How does the 3010cn connect to my cpu? I dont have any cables and no port except for a usb port

The Dell 3010cn will connect fine with a standard USB cable to the port on your cpu. Just connect the USB cable up, connect the power cable to a socket and run the installation from the software cd.

Cant install my canon 190 printer

Have you check the printer cable thats connect from cpu to printer

Delete all printer driver, access from Start->control Panel->Printer and Fax. Right click to printer icon and delete all printer driver. Turn it off.

Then turn CPU on but not the printer yet.
Then after windows screen completly appears, turn printer on.
If the computer says detect a new hardware, that means a connection
between CPU and printer is fine.

Then instal the software driver from CD. Good luck !
