The headset stick does not come new ...you have to purchase full headset...thank you

Incoming call - I can hear it ring in the headset. Outgoing call - no sound at all. When call is connected - no sound on either end. Was working great just before that.

If your headset is showing a green light when it is plugged into the charger it means the battery is receiving power. If you remove the unit from the charger and it will not turn on or function properly there is likely an issue with one of the control circuits.

Without seeing the unit we would not be able to tell you which circuit is experiencing some sort of issue but the unit does need service. The VXi, Blueparrott B250-XT has a one year repair warranty from date of purchase. Please call our After Market Services Department at 800-742-8588 x2011 or visit us on line at www.vxicorp.com > Customer Care >VXi Customer Returns to obtain a return authorization number (or RA#).

After you have received your RA# you may send us your headset to us via any means you choose (prepaid) with your RA# marked on the package, please include a copy of your invoice or receipt. If you do not have a copy of your proof of purchase we use the production date as the warranty default start date.

The After Market Services group will either replace your unit with like new product or repair your headset as necessary. In either case, our goal is to turn the unit around for outbound shipping in two business days (please note this goal can be affected by volume at the time your unit arrives).

My blueparrott headset was working fine, then one day it just didnt work. i refuse to believe that its broken because i have only had it 6-8 months.

I hand my blueparrott for 1 year now. and the problem is that when i pluged it the charger the light is green. but when i go to pair it up with phone is does not come on. Not even a blue light or green...

My mic is broken, so I tried to fix the headset by cutting the wires. Then I striped the wires. But I noticed that there were only 4 wires, yet there were 5 places to solder. Looking at the part, There are...


What i've done in similar situations is basically trail and error. You've got two spots for one wire, try them both out.

Some companies will use a generic piece for all their similar products. Maybe one of Altec's other headsets uses that 5th spot for something. Just try them both out and see what happens. Just dont solder them right away, stick them on with some electrical tape or something to save yourself some time. Then when you're sure you can solder away.
