Replacement for 3105058.014 Bi-Metal Heat/Cool Thermostat New Part Number 3313477.000. At bottom of page it says "Photo is of an old style thermostat". That's the one we have. Sounds like a stuck relay on the unit itself. Maybe there is a short in the control wire that comes from the thermostat that activates the fan.
The thermostat probably has one hot wire at all times. The thermostat then chooses which wire to send the voltage down based on your selection. One of those wires is probably for the fan only. Make sure that it is in good condition (no bare, pinched or wires)

i would suggest that you look at your thermostat,it may be to close to the furnace keeping in mind that all thermostats have a certain tempreture drop (or gain) before restarting john

When the cooling slows down, but water is still running off, usually something is icing up. You can turn the unit off, and let it thaw, and try again. Sometimes, if the humidity is high, this is more pronounced. It sounds like you are low on refrigerant. That implies that you have a slight leak. You should have the unit serviced, and the leak repaired.

SOURCE: dometic a/c, duotherm thermostat, turns right back on after it reaches desired temperture.
I have a dometic 13500 BTU Roof mount a/c. It is set up with the duo-therm analog thermostat. The system cools fine. The problem is that the a/c gets down to the right temp, then it turns off like it should but turns right back on within a few seconds. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi; How old is the unit. Sometimes the condensing coils get clogged and need to be cleaned. Or the compressor is not in operation due to an electrical problem or the compressor is out due to a safety feature called a thermal overload. This protects the compressor from failure to a high heat or pressure situation. Alot of consumers run to the need freon theory before checking a few other things.
