Question about Canon PIXMA MP210 Photo All-In-One Printer

1 Answer

The printer does not prints exactly the colors that I see in my tft monitor.it seems that the printer adds a bownish filter in my images and prints them more dark-brownish. I print using ACDSee. I also tried with photoshop. same problem.even worst. the colors of the monitor does not match the printers colors.I tried to change the profiles, change the cartriges and even change the model of the printer. the problem remains. we say that this is not a problem of the printer. but then what is it? please help.

Check your inks, especially the yellow, a bad printhead will allow the colors to cross contaminate. Usually yellow looks a brown color in the cartridge. You need to install a new printhead and toss any contaminated inks.

Colors look different on the screen than they print. Never had this problem with an HP printer before. Anything I can do???

This is actually a somewhat complex issues. There are several factors at play.
  1. Is your monitor correctly calibrated? Consult your monitor's documentation for more information.
  2. Is your printer low on any one color of ink? Sometimes a low amount of ink can cause shifts in color balance.
  3. What profile (CMYK/RGB/other) is the image you're trying to print? Opening the image in a professional image editing suite could give you better color reproduction if the suite more closely conforms to the color standard.
  4. Is the problem persistent with ALL images or just a few? If it's an error with all images, it's likely issue #1 or #2. If it's just a few, it's probably issue #3.
Good luck!

How do i get the deepest richest colors possible from my printer. I heat press tee shirts and want red, greens, etc as deep and rich as possible. using HP photo paper matte and best settings. HELP

no printer is capable of all the colors a monitor is. create designs in "printable" colors. programs like paintshop and photoshop can "show" you on your monitor what an image will look like when printed, and even convert those images to those colors if you wish

With my d90 reds come out as orange how do i stop

My guess is that it's not the camera but it's your monitor calibration. Reds (especially brightly lit reds) are the most difficult to render on a monitor. I would try changing the Vivid color option on the camera as well as saturation and even the color space options to see if you get any variation. Also, consider looking into a monitor calibration utility. If you have a color printer, you can print an image that looks orange on your monitor to see if it prints the same way.

My HP Photosmart 8150 has started printing color

You may have a colour management problem. Your monitor may need to be recalibrated from the software you are using to print your images. Your printer too may need to be sorted by calibaration too.

Printer doesn't print exact copy of picture should be in color.

Is the setting on the print driver set to color? If so, often times you can't print certain imaged from the web as you see them, It is copyright protection. So it may not be possible to reproduce is as seen.

I think its not printer or ink problem. Your monitor might be brighter so pics will look more bright on monitor and less on printer. If this is the case with you then:
  • Try to reduce brightness of your monitor, then make bright your picture using software which one you are using, means in this case you are going to save more bright value in the image file. Then print it.

Post your feed back please.

Color of the prints

Hi,
Try printer preferences.
START/PRINTERS/Right Click on printer/ printer preferences.
Gives you the various Options, print test page-clean heads et,c et,c.
If you have all the software and drivers installed, you should also get these options in the printers default Program.
