Question about IBM ThinkPad T30 2366 Notebook
Sys has distinct clicking while trying to run hd.I am running a ..........sorry clicking strated.....

ok, click run and type cmd (winxp and win 7) then in command type CHKDSK c: /f , it should then say cannot run because the volume is use. so press 'y' for the check to be when the computer starts, so restart the computer and let it scan your hd, if it finds some bad sectors it will attempt to fix them, if it cannot fix them then your Hard drive is defective, also to help download CCleaner (it's free) and run analyse to clear your temp files ect.. also click on registry and select scan for issues, both of these steps should help your computer run faster. also try looking for viruses ect... best regards
