My Proscan 50" LED TV (plded5066a-c) is stuck on flashing colors. There's sound, but the remote can't change the volume or channel! How do I get out of this mode?

In most of the case, the problem is defective LED back lights strips.

You may try a new power supply first.

My suggestion is to call DirecTv customer support and request they walk you through the programming process. This is not a difficult process for them to help with. If this does not work, don't be afraid to schedule a technician visit.

Check whether the control voltage comes to the inverter section cirlcuit at its power board; from the main board. There is a control voltage that controls the light intensity; as well as start, of the inverter section circuit at the main power regulator [SMPS]. It should come from the main board. It this voltage is absent, the main board is faulty. Check whether it is present or not. It will be best to contact any service technician in this case. I think some how you have gone into service mode on the tv.
you may need to take it into a repair shop so the can re-set it back.

hi first you will need the proper remote control once you have this press the menu button on the remote, retune the tv hope it helps

The problem that I am suddenly facing is that I can't change channels or volume or use any other function. I can't even turn it off with remote control.

Its stuck randomly on a particular channel that I was watching at that point of time.

Along with that channel it now shows a message in flashing red color that reads :-

Now when I press ''Display'' button on remote control volume goes off and this code is shown :-

The numbers in the second line can be navigated by ''CH+'' button and changed between 0 and 1 by ''Vol+'' button.

I really don't know anything about this. So, please help me out of this problem.

U have 2 situations:
1st U have a tv Key stucked or internal control board defective.
2nd U have a broken tv remote control.

Note: Check for stuck pressed keys on TV, if not send to repair shop, for checkup.
